Sorry not a car post, but I’m super proud of myself because yesterday I ran the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon in 3:30:00!
And now everything hurts...working the clutch pedal in traffic this morning was hell

Woo, congrats! My sister was in a fair amount of pain after her 1st marathon... stay hydrated!
Also, I too did a marathon yesterday. I drove 26 miles.

Congratulations! I’m working my way up there. I’m some where between 10k and a half marathon at the moment.

Damn she’s quick! I think the fastest time for the women was just under 3 hours so it sounds like your sis can kick some ass!

Haha yeah we are proud of her. My dad is buying her a new cubs jersey as a present lol. Apparently the full marathon route actually went in front of my sisters apartment too

That’s about where I’m at. I’m thinking about trying a 15k, i’ve seen a couple around, might be a nice stepping stone.

Congrats. I did an Ultra (trail running is easier on my joints) in the spring so I am right there with you on knowing that pain. ( Why? )
Pain is good, it meant you earned it. prolonged pain is bad so don’t do that to yourself, haha.

That’s a very impressive time, especially for your first marathon.

Holy crap thats fast! nice work. Literally today just entered the Ballot for the London Marathon, with an estimated time of sub 4hrs. Ran a half marathon in 1.47 in March, couldnt imagine doing faster than that pace for double the distance. Epic stuff! Have a star.

Congrats man that’s one hell of a time! I ran the RNR Nashville Half Marathon on Saturday and was heading for a PR until my knee crashed out on me at mile 10... stretched and ran that mile before conceding to a walk/run 2:09 finish.
